LIFE DEVELOPMENT GROUP is a Los Angeles-based grassroots advocacy group who specialize in social equity and community reinvestment. We hold no-cost workshops and educational seminars to assist social equity applicants through compliance and regulations in a complicated new industry.
OUR MISSION is to provide resources and opportunities for equitable ownership and employment in the cannabis industry for African Americans, who have been disproportionately impacted by the War on Drugs.
OUR VISION is prosperity for all, and we believe that with community reinvestment in the form of cannabis businesses we can help bridge the socio-economic gap throughout our communities and offer more resources.
LIFE DEVELOPMENT GROUP training program provides a unique chance for program graduates to gain marketable skills in the cannabis industry while repairing the injustices of the War on Drugs.
This multi-stage program offers business and life skills development, job specific training and placement, and access to capital for social enterprises.
Our community-based programming is designed for new or first-time business owners to help them learn the ins and outs of operating a licensed and compliant cannabis business in Los Angeles.
Workshops that we offer include location scouting, compliance, regulations, financial literacy, community advocacy, investor preparedness, corporate structuring, and entrepreneurial growth.
We also offer information about safe and responsible cannabis use and consumption.
Here is everything that is going on when it comes to Life Development Group,
Social Equity, and Cannabis in the City of Los Angeles.
Let's create something together! We want you to be involved in shaping policy, moving community initiatives forward, and sharing industry knowledge to educate upcoming cannabis entrepreneurs.
